Develop an online bookstore system. In this assignment, it will contain most of
fundamental functions for a bookstore: products display, shopping-cart, auction, and
online survey…etc. In addition, you will implement same applications for “Frequent
Items”, “Related Products”, “Choose Your Language”, “Currencies” which will involve
using some database data-mining technology.
This project will be divided into two parts: a business-to-client (B2C) section and a
business-to-business (B2B) section. There are three major implements: a client-side
and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to validate client input and create a more dynamic
Web site. Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) will be used to implement server-side scripting
which allows the server to create and send dynamic contents to the client, and you will
use MySQL database and SQL to implement data mining and decision support tasks.
Extend B2B service for our project to make the bookstore becoming an E-shopping mall.
You will need to create a friendly interface in client side, which will allow any shop join
your shopping mall, and be able to sell their products and manage their own store from
Option Feature - Create an e-book center for iPhone customers to subscribe e-book and
be able to download from workstations to an iPhone through the wireless transmission.
 Use a standard report structure.
 Use Microsoft Word Processor to develop your report.

problem, the objectives and the research question.
This is to reflect the student skills in collecting research sources, analyzing
papers and present the literature in partial and critical way.
Data Collection and analysis:
The student should demonstrate the designing and implementing a secure,
transactional e-business application, and a good research data collection,
analysis and presentation in descriptive and pictorial form.
To demonstrate the use of mark-up and scripting languages, the use of
different methods of generating dynamic web page content, and a good
understanding of the research topic and it significance.
Structure and style of essay and level of presentation of contents including
references and conclusion of the report.
