We want to build two dynamic web services, including the front-end web pages, back-end database, art design, and initial content input. All contents have to be in simplified Chinese. The two sites should have similar styles, providing different services. One of them can be similar to: [url removed, login to view] and the other similar to: [url removed, login to view] We will send the feature analysis documents to serious and qualified bidders via additional communication. I. Product features: a. Administrator: should be able to create, update, and modify content categories; organize content b. Customer: should be able to create an account, log in, update the profile, post the service requests c. Service provider: should be able to sign up, update the profile, communicate with the customer, and post the service description and ads (not enough space to post here; see complete requirements in attachment) II. Technical skills requirements: a. Familiar with Unix/Linux and development under Unix/Linux environment b. Expertise and experiences in web page design, DHTML, CSS, XML, Perl c. Expertise and experiences in PHP d. Expertise and experiences in JavaScript e. Expertise and experiences in mySQL, relational database design, planning, and content management f. Strong capablity in art design for web pages, including logos, images, buttons, etc. g. Expertise and experiences in Macromedia Flash III. How to proceed: a. The vendor has to provide the following for our evaluation: i. Samples of past projects completed on similar database-driven web services; ii. A project proposal including: 1. time schedule; 2. proposal of web architecture and database design; 3. proposal of underlying technologies and what tools to use. iii. A quote; b. This description is only used for evaluation and quotation. A final version of the product requirement document will be given (through discussions between the buyer and vendor) before an agreement is reached.

## Deliverables

a. Complete and fully-functional website, back-end services, and databases in executable form; all requirements of features and functions described in this document and the feature analysis document (to be supplied) have to be met; b. Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition. Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment; c. Complete source codes and project files of all work done. Source codes must have sufficient comments in English; d. All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased; e. A progress report on a weekly basis. Coder has to provide then completed source codes, no matter in working condition or not, along with the weekly report. This helps the Coder to receive prompt feedback from the Buyer; f. Documentation • Document in English on the system architecture and framework, underlying technologies; • A brief manual in English on basic usage.
