Ecwid is the shopping cart I use and Ohanah is the Event management system I use in conjunction with my Joomla CMS.
Currently my site will list an event and the person can go and register and then hit submit and pay for the event. The payment system is just a link redirect to my Ecwid shopping cart which I have put an item for the purchase that is a description of the event. The issue is this... because it is a redirect the two systems do not talk to each other. Because of this if the person registers and doesn't pay the registration still counts and it is a registered user / person for the account. This is a huge problem.
What I want is for the person to not officially register until they have payment conformation that the person has paid from the Ecwid product payment system. Upon that the registration for the event should confirm and take place. If not it should be as if the person did not register and that event slot would still be available.
I have test accounts and access to all files and can help with the developers of both extensions.
Ecwid can be found here at [url removed, login to view]
The Ecwid API is every excellent and works well via JSON. The extension Ohanah doesn't have an API set I am aware of.
