The project is simple - the result is that an Avery (A4 sheet) of labels will have a label where desired. Specifically, Avery L6009 labels (Google it to get an idea of what it is)
The work flow will be like this:
User is presented with a web page where they select label template
Then are guided to fill a form with fields which will be printed.
There should be a field for how many copies are required and a field for where on the sheet of labels should the printing start from (x & y position)
There should be an option to import a CSV to make batches of labels
Currently, the office here prints labels by typing them out into a word template on the label position they wish to use. Since individual labels are often only printed one at a time& an A4 sheet houses 20, the label sheet is re-fed into the printer unit until all the labels are used.
There are a few different formats the labels must be printed in, depending on the circumstance, so a menu to select what template is needed.
Some templates which will be used require printing a barcode.
Templates are already made & need to be generated by the website in the same way as they look now, as this is not a new labeling system, but one to complement an established system (i.e. printed from word with particular fonts, bar-code & multiple lines of text)
