I have an excel file with 2 Columns. Column A and Column B. Column A has images names that i already have in folder on my local pc. Column B has new names of images. I want images to be renamed with new names mentioned in column B. However there is one more thing i want to mention if you open file and in first row you see in Column A "[url removed, login to view]" . In folder i have image with same name already exist but there are 2-3 more images also available for same name like this "[url removed, login to view] "[url removed, login to view]" "[url removed, login to view]" Sometime these exist and sometime not so i want to rename those also but keep "[url removed, login to view]" "[url removed, login to view]" etc... and rename rest of the name.
Also in column B u will see some of the rows has duplicate names also so if this case appears i want macro to add -1,-2 etc.. at the end of images so they will become unique instead of overwrite previous image. In column B sometimes names are too big more then 260 characters i think so just cut the names which are more then 260 characters because i think max limit for name is 260 characters.
So this is what i need.
1. Read names of images from Column A search for the image in Folder.
2. Rename image with new name mentioned in Column B including sub images _01,_02,_03.... but keep _01,_02,_03 etc...
3. Add -1 , -2, -3 etc.. if duplicates found.
4. Limit the characters to 260 if found more then 260 characters.
I need this quick so i will select a bidder in 1 to 2 hours. My budget for this is $10.
