We are currently seeking a part-time freelance web developer that may be required to work up to 40 hours per month on an ongoing basis, as needed. A candidate for this position will be responsible for implementing changes and recommendations provided by the client on a customized e-commerce platform, using [url removed, login to view], Perl, PHP and MySQL.
This position requires experience with working on a site in a production environment that uses a variety of technologies. It will also require the ability to interact with third-party APIs for some added functionality.
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, computer science or related fields is preferred but not required.
Experience: At least two years of website development experience is required. Additional experience with database programming is preferred but not required.
