I need some PHP and perhaps JavaScript work done. I have an example of a page set up here:
If you look at that page's source, you'll see the page loads two frames in a frameset. What I need it to do is:
1. Detect the title of the bottom frame (urlframe) and set it as the title of the main browser window when the page is loading.
2. Also carry that title over from either the bottom frame (urlframe) or the main browser window (since the titles should become the same) and append it to the AddThis href in the top frame (topframe).
3. Detect the URL in the main browser window and carry it over to the AddThis href in the top frame (topframe).
The reason I need to carry the title and main browser URL over to the top frame is so it can create the href for the AddThis link there. The link should look something like "[login to view URL]" with the correct url and title added to it from the main browser window, rather than the url and title from the top frame (topframe).
So I need the data to be carried from one frame to the browser or the browser to the top frame's href. PHP seems to be the best way to do it. When doing this, I cannot edit or append anything to the main URL in the browser. It has to stay as it is. However, if needed, we could append it to the URL of the top frame to make it become something like [login to view URL] If that make it easier for you to get the data to the top frame's href.
## Deliverables
I'm in a bit of a hurry to get this done. I played with it myself for a while but couldn't get it to work. I'm hoping that an experienced PHP coder can get it done pretty quick with a few lines of code or some tricks that I never thought of trying.
