Project Description

I require someone with Google Maps API experience.

We have a Wordpress site which uses custom posts as listings. Each post is given a postcode, which in turn generates co-ordinates - so each post is assigned co-ordinates.

We have a search form on the frontend which queries this database of posts and brings back posts within the radius of the search. All this works fine.

What doesn't work however is if you enter a town such as 'Edmonton' in London, it won't bring any listings back because it thinks you mean the 'Edmonton' in Cornwall (UK). There needs to be a way to address this. What we'd like is something similar to the AA Routeplanner site: [url removed, login to view]

See the way it makes suggestions as you search? We are using the Autocomplete already, but its suggestions are not very good and are usually foreign countries.

We need someone to suggest the best course of action for this and to rework the search form which will ultimately allow for better results.
