This project is not for work to be done but simply for an expert opinion.
We are using a customized version of a live help PHP program called TrioLive from ActiveCampaign.com. The program itself is encrypted so accessing program files directly is not possible though we can access its MySQL database.
Like other live help programs, users from departments log on the system to accept chats from website visitors. What we need to find out is if there is a way for an external program to detect when users are logged in as an operator and which departments they belong to. If detection is possible this information will be used in developing another program to control how live help requests are handled.
For the purpose of this project however we only need to know if it's possible (and if so, how) to detect users and their associated departments.
