Project Description

Basically I need some help optimizing our site so that Google ONLY see's our SEO pages...and not our pages ending in .php

Apache Rewrite is already configured & running....and SEO pages are already created.

Stuff I need help with -

1) Help with configuring [url removed, login to view] to block pages ending in .php from being indexed in Google.

2) Help with configuring .htaccess to improve SEO urls ( may or may not be needed. the SEO page versions are already created...just need help with redirecting the ones ending in .php to the .html versions )

3) Help with auto-redirecting certain pages that end in .php to pages that end in .html

4) some minor coding changes may also need to be done in other templates to get everything to work correctly.

example : Our site is a Weather site. And when typing in zipcode for your local forecast , only the version ending in .php is displayed. When it needs to be auto-redirected to the .html version.

example -

/[url removed, login to view]+york+city&submit.x=0&submit.y=0

is the same exact page on our site as -

/forecast/us/ny/new+york+[url removed, login to view]

URL format is the only thing that is different.

I want to make sure that only the -

/forecast/us/ny/new+york+[url removed, login to view]

URL versions are the only versions readable by Google and other search engines.

I'm the admin as well, so any files that you need access to , I can download and send to you as well.
