Need a method to have users who are logged into MySpace send a message to their top friends with a single button. Users sign up for our MySpace profile counter. As part of the signup process they should have a button that says "invite my friends". This button will send a MySpace email to their Top Friends. The Top Friends are listed on the users MySpace profile page and we will also have them in MySQL database. Users have between zero and 24 top friends. The website is a drupal 4.7 site with MySQL. THere are some challanges with this project. Please be comfortable that you can solve for these challenges before bidding. The users are already logged into MySpace. The desire is to somehow reuse this login. User can not need to login again. When a MySpace user goes to the form to send mail, the underlying html contains a sort of key, called Viewstate. If we post directly to the forms without the viewstate hidden value the mail is not sent. We need a way to handle this. Perhaps by capturing the viewstate string or by stuffing the subject and body values into the pre-form before submitting it. The viewstate cannot be inspected from iframe do the security model (as far as we've been able to tell). We need someone creative to solve this puzzle. The users should not see the messages being sent, but rather a progress bar or please wait message. The method needs to work from within the webpage without requiring the user to download any software or plugins. Users are on high speed connections. The goal is to have the process be extremely easy as the users are novice and don't follow instructions well. There should not be any prompts or abandon points for the user through the process. Final result: user hits one button on a web page, zero to 24 precanned emails are sent via their MySpace account, this happens in background without prompting the user.
