Bidders will only have to create the PHP site as the static pages are being created by me. You may use CMS software to generate the pages and mysql. I will also require you set up a PHP plugin that is specified in the document attached.
The site essentially will be used by companies so that they can set up a health orientated website aimed at getting their employees walkign more. the emplloyees as users will be able to enter their own personal information and log how many steps the walk on the site. In addition to this the plugin tool will allow all users to be able to generate graphs basec on the steps input by the users.
User management is also a part of the project.
I will require that you can provide set up instructions of how you did the owrk so that I can reproduce the site. or if I just need to load in some tables into SQL/modify a few files and upload some files to the server then that would be better. But you will have to let me know how to reproduce it to get it to work on my server as I don't really want to have to read all of the code myself.
Please see the attached doc and let me know if you have any questions
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Also directions and instructions for setting this up on my own environement inclusing MySQL table schemas.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. Or as said above in a condition wherby a small amount of work can be done to get the site up and running.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Hello to all bidders on the project.
I appreciate your time and effort in your pursuits toward this project and I feel I should provide you all with an update.
I now have 9 bids on the project all at the same price and all offering varying levels of service.
I have already mentioned to a couple of you that I will be making my decision within the next few days. So I should explain how I would like this to work.
I will firstly make a shortlist of those who I feel I would liek to work with. I will then refine the project scope covering a few changes that I have in mind which both reduce and increas your work burden by similar amounts. E.G. The SU does not need to be set up as a normal user just a higher management of the whole site. Or I would like the SU user to be able to edit the static page texts from the login area. I will request a PHP snippet for this and I will slot it into my html files on the front end.
Also it goes without saying that when SQL is to executed, e.g. new users are created I will require the generation of usernames from the users actualy firstname/surnames. These should only be produced once. Thos of you who are used to PHP coding will take this in your stride and it will be second nature.
I will also like to define my project and to collate ideas from those who are shortlisted. I know many of you probably have masses of reproducable PHP code that can also be used on my site such as forums and suchlike. I would like to try and utilise some other useful features on the site.
My domiain name is being ordered and I am finishing off the statis html pages and their design.
If you feel you would like to still be in the running for this work then please replay back as that will be an important factor in my decision making process.
I will try to make this as efficient as possible for those who are in the shortlist and I hope you understand I need to grind out as much of my project specifications with you as possible before work starts.
Thanks for your ears
It will initially be test bedded on my windows environment using PHPdev. Mysql and PHP will be the database and parsing engine.
It will eventually be hosted on a Linux server whereby slight modifications may needed to be made to secure files - i.e. chage MySQL database names and passswords.
I don't mind if CMS tools are used but I will want to be informed about these tools and have copies of the project files.
