We are a company that offers a web application with a free trial. However, in order to create a free trial, we now force everyone to fill out their information and wait for an email with a login and password. We want a programmer to change it so that anyone who is visiting the website without a cookie will immediately get access to a free trial of the product without filling out any information or giving their email address. They should also be able to come back and be logged into the system automatically without having to type in a login and password. An example of a website like this is: [url removed, login to view] They allow you to immediately start using their application when you visit their website. They don't require a login. This is what we want. For the free trial system, you will probably need to disable some features. For example, mass email is one feature of our program. We don't want spammers to abuse the system. We want to let anyone use the system for free, and if they become active users, eventually we want to ask them to start paying to use the system. After you see the application, we want you to make suggestions about how much we should give away for free, and when to start charging for service. This is not a very simple job. You should be an expert in PHP, DHTML, cookies and cookie handling, postgresql, making changes to credit card process settings for e-commerce, Apache, Linux, etc. To see our web app, please visit: [url removed, login to view] and use: login: rentacoder password: test
1) When new visitors come to our website they should automatically get logged into our web application so they can try it. There should be no need register, get a login, or fill in a login screen. They should get instant and immediately access to the application when they arrive at our webpage. When they return to our website the next time, it should enable them to continue using the application for free without logging in. 2) After someone has used the application for free for a while, or meets some critera that we decide, the system should ask them to pay (become a premium user). You should help us decide when that should happen and make it work. 3. When our existing corporate (premium) visitors come to the website, they should get a login screen and login like they do now. Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
