PHP Web Developer (Magento)
- Status Closed
- Budget min $50 AUD / hour

Hi everyone, need to find a good hard core PHP Developer to help us out immediately. Will be absolutely delighted to find someone in Melbourne Australia with experience in custom coding the checkout process of Magento community edition. :-)
The development for this exciting eCommerce project continues with much of the backend implementation for Phase 1 already built using Magento, so experience in this framework would be highly beneficial, though not essential.
As a developer, you will need strong PHP skills and a good understanding of front end implementations. Any responsive web development experience would be handy.
You will be working alongside other free lancers who may not be on-site so an understanding of source-control, specifically Git, would be very useful.
Payment will be taken using Securepay integrated with Magento. An email with a customised pdf document attached to the invoice needs to be delivered at checkout.
First task of the contract is to create a custom coded Magento responsive one step checkout page, including adding custom checkout fields.
Following this there is extensive phase 2 work required including the development of an Admin portal in which multiple client administrators can create and manage their own accounts.
This role would suit someone looking for an initial 4-week full time contract (with a view to extend), or someone with at least 20-hours per week available for freelance work (providing they are able to work regularly on-site at our CBD Melbourne offices).
Remuneration will be based on experience. Please apply advising preferred hourly rate and a brief explanation of your experience as you think it relates to this project.Get free quotes for a project like this
