Project Description

Maintenance project

We have a project to update our site.

We have code to update.

We have plenty of work. Most of the work are short tasks... that amount to a great deal of opportunity.

If you are interested in 2-3 projects a week. Please follow us.

For authentication, the login and password is working in the http: directory but it does not work in the subdirectory. We need the authentication to work in either the root directory or subdirectory.

We have a new story form entry form. When the form is submitted it generates an email. We need to change a couple of the links in the email for review and approval. The links are currently pointing to the wrong directory.

The problem now is that when the approver receives the email, they click on the link and the approver is required to login. This is fine, accept that the approver has to cut and paste the URL to edit and review the story in order to access. We need to streamline this process and take out some steps.

We also need new features:

We have an input form. Below the text fields we would like to put a character count.... If the character limit is 500 we would like the character count to count down to let the user know when they are reaching the limit.

We also need an 'information' image and link next to each field for a popup helping the user know what to input.

When we enter content into a story form, when the contributor press the submit button the content is written to the mySQL dB and an email is sent to recipients.

We would like the content written to the mySQL dB... which it does now... but we need the input to appear as a .php confirmation page so the user can view and edit the content before final submission. In the confirmation page the author should be prompted to be sure they are submitting the story. There are also images associated with the form we would like to appear in the page as thumbnails with the ability to cancel and resubmit. It's at this point we would like to have the email sent with the content of the story.

And there is more...much more...

We will provide, FTP and access to the mySQL dB.

The first part we have to fix is the login and authentication, so you can sign up and get a userID and password.

Thanks
Jeff
