The National Insurance Board is seeking to recruit a professional Programmer who is certified and proficient in php, javascript, actionscript, and in the use of relational databases to develop software applications. The successful candidate should have practical experience in building working projects, and will be required to give examples of working projects.

Professional Qualifications
Degree in Computer Sciences from a recognized University and/or a minimum of 5 years practical programming experience

Applicants should be proficient in the following languages:

Knowledge of the following languages: Java, Perl. The programmer must also be able to automate routine tasks using scripting languages, performing arbitrary tasks to manipulate files, parse text input, and translate data among multiple forms and formats.

Experience in utilizing existing frameworks. (Demonstrated proficiency in the use of the Zend and Flash Builder).
Experience with and proficient use of relational databases. (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
Ability to apply the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to projects. The programmer must understand the principles behind interactive web pages and web-based applications, including one or more of JavaServer Pages (JSP), Java servlets, Active Server Pages (ASP), and ActiveX controls, must also have knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), HTML 5 n and XHTML..
