The project, in brief, is, to populate a website with property listings using a specific property API (standard XML returned, and parsed accordingly). The website designs are complete (psd), of which there are a number of pages (very similar in content). Collaboration on front-end markup is possible, as this is effectively a back end API undertaking with obvious front-end overlaps. This will be discussed further.
The home page features a slideshow, with a property search widget layered on top. A 'featured property' slideshow appears at the bottom above the footer, containing two boxes comprising the property's category, title, description, price, and a link to the detail page. The actual search page (the core of the website) displays a search column on the left (likened to a widget, though strictly it isn't), where results are generated in a grid format to the right, three columns across.
The property detail page has an image and description in the main content area positioned left, with thumbnails, tags, and a map floated to the right in a sidebar. The site does not have a user login, nor a CMS; it's essential static, so well documented code is essential. The only interaction a user will have is through the 'Register' page, which includes various fields for submission, such as name, address, requirements, etc..
The remaining pages are exactly the same, in that they contain static text and a search widget in the right sidebar housing.
