Straightforward project with "no-scope-creep" client:
We are looking for someone to build a simple RSS reader that will take the information of an RSS data feed and output a single image or multiple images (per our PM discussion) containing the text of the RSS feed in a given NON-CSS standard typeface (a typeface not usually recognized by a windows or PC computer).
Output should be in .png form, and preserve image transparency. Fonts will be loaded from local server, in TTF format.
Admin section will be used to create text markup of new RSS image feeds, and then use either iframe or basic HTML callup to include the feed in any HTML or PHP page. Images could be stored on server that is not the server calling up the images.
Admin section should be able to control:
Number of RSS ITEMS
Size of Image output
Headline Font Face and Pixel Size of Font
Content Font Face and Pixel Size of Font
RGB color of typeface (integrate color picker from dhtml [url removed, login to view])
Size of Image Width in Pixels or Auto
Size of Image Height in Pixels or Auto (auto will size height to not cut off content)
(Line Spacing?) - if easy to add on.
See rough example at: [url removed, login to view]
And also: [url removed, login to view] , [url removed, login to view] both have font printing software embedded for other purposes.
Our budget is a negotiable $100 - $200. This is a small experiment for a large project. Winning bid may receive more work pending development.
PM with questions.
