Project Description

The aim of this project is to replace the Flash animation on [url removed, login to view] by something else which is not Flash, and which will also work on iPad (2, 3, ...) and on iPhone (3G, 4, 5, ...) and other Pad or Phone devices.

The design of the website must remain EXCTALY the same, and the animation must be the same. The transitions must be fluid. Please notice that the transition is not always the same between photos.

Important : a pre-loading strategy for images must be implemented, so that the effects are even more fluid than now (since now there is no good pre-loading strategy in place).

I must have a simple XML file to decide the order of the photos, similar to this one : [url removed, login to view]

I do NOT want a full CMS. I am happy with uploading my photos via FTP and then use the XML file to put them in the animation.

The result must work on all current browsers, PC, Mac, Linux, including some old versions of the most used browsers.

The result must be independent of any other website (no hidden links to sources or libraries hosted somewhere else).

The result must also work (if possible) offline on my computer, so that I can always see the result before uploading it to the server, when I add new photos.

The "final +" (that is, when all photos in the animation have been viewed) leads to a static HTML page, as you will see. You have nothing to do with these pages, I maintain them myself. The "final +" must be optional. If one day I decide to leave it out, then it must me possible, via the XML file, not to put it there, or to deactivate it.

The categories :

- Publications

- Stages de photographie

- News

lead only to static HTML pages, so you have nothing to do with this, I maintain them myself.

If necessary, my server can host PHP, and MySql.
