Project Description

This is a simple HTML / PHP problem that should take under 1 hour to fix (maybe less).

Please tell me your total bid + how long it will take you to complete the project.

You will get a positive feedback, too!

I have a page here:

[url removed, login to view] beachextreme/[url removed, login to view] (remove the space in the URL)

This page works properly when information is entered partially. For example, you enter someones first name and last name and put a phone number in under "shipping information". Click the green "Next Page" button. You see now on the next page that the first name and last name and phone number is carried over and now appears in the form. Scroll down on the page (it will be [url removed, login to view]) and you can see that all of the PARTIAL information (do not complete the form completely, only enter first name, last name, phone number) will crossover and now appear on that page. You see? It works properly.

Now the problem is that I have almost an identical page here:

[url removed, login to view] beachextreme/ (remove the space in the URL)

This page is ALMOST exactly the same. However, for some reason it is not behaving the same. Click "no" in the yes/no box to reveal the shipping and billing information. Now enter only the first name, last name and phone number under shipping information (partial information) and click "next page" ... you see now it DOES NOT carry over correctly. You see that it either displays old information or only carries over some information. However, I made sure that almost everything is identical.

One thing that I tested to see if it was the problem was this part of the javascript:

showHideShip .. this function is called and changes the value of something on the page with the error that doesn't apply to the page without the error, however, I also tried testing by putting the shipping information OUTSIDE of the id="billing" section so that it would not be affected by the Yes/No radio buttons and javascript and it STILL does not pass the information correctly to the next page if it is partial information. I cannot figure out why.

The behavior should be this:

=> On this page [url removed, login to view] beachextreme/ it will receive POST data as "Shipping Information".

=> When that is done, the user can enter their credit card and complete the order. However, if they click "next page" then it should come up with errors on the following page, HOWEVER, their information should carryover correctly and appear in those boxes on that next page.

=> If they click the "No" radio button Then both Shipping and Billing information appear. This also sets the to value="0" .... now they can see the information that has appeared in the shipping information from the POST (or enter it manually just like [url removed, login to view]) ... and they can enter their different billing information.

=> However, no matter how I test [url removed, login to view] (again, [url removed, login to view] works correctly) - whether I set it up exactly like [url removed, login to view] or not, the variables are not coming through to the next page when partial information is entered. Basically [url removed, login to view] should behave identical to [url removed, login to view] - EXCEPT the only different is that [url removed, login to view] the shipping information is outside of id="billing" and [url removed, login to view] I want the shipping information hidden and INSIDE id="billing" ... but, still, no matter if I put shipping information inside or outside id="billing" on [url removed, login to view], it is not passing all variables correctly to the next page and everything looks identical on the two. I even cleared all cookies to test multiple times.

=> Last thing is a simple HTML issue ... I want the table with "Payment Information" to line up with the table "id=billing" ... However, I cannot include it within id="billing because I do not want it to be hidden initially. You can see it appears pushed to the right.
