Project Description

Hello.

I need a simple Windows Metro application done. It needs to comply with the Windows Certification requirements so that I can get it in my Windows Store account: [url removed, login to view]
In short, it will need to be written in either HTML5 & Javascript or Visual Basic(C++, C#, XAML), but if I would prefer HTML5 & Javascript if possible. It needs to be fully functional with a screen size between 1024 x 768 & 1920 x1080, must launch within 5 seconds and suspend within 2 seconds, and be fullscreen.
However, if you have never worked on a Windows App before, then it is required that you have a look at the link above for reference.

I have added a few images to this project, to give you an idea on how it should work, look and feel. Note that it is only a suggestion and not necessarily how the outcome should look. The images are mainly to give you an idea on how this app should work.
The app functionality goes as follows: In short, the app will show the latest steam games on sale. It has to be possible for me to add and remove this content without updating the app itself. One way I can think of to do this, is to retrieve the information (games, prices, savings etc) from a hosted database. I can provide this of course. However, if you have a better/easier method to doing so, then kindly inform me what your plans are.
Required Features:
Retrieve content from outside the app itself, so that I can change it without updating the app. (Ex. a hosted database)
Sort the entries by "Price, Savings, Store, Date Added, Title & Popularity".
Open a link in users standard browser when clicking on any of the entries.

Kindly let me know which programming language(s) you are planning to do this in, and also comment on making the content editable(ex. with the hosted database)
I will discuss further details with all of you, so do not be afraid to ask anything, or bid on this project.
I have added as much information as possible to make it easier to understand, and I also added the images for reference.

Let me know if you have any questions or queries.
Sincerely Pl0xd
