About The Eye-Tracking Cognitive Assessment Project
The Eye-Tracjking Cognitive Assessment uses software and hardware to track a participant’s eye movements in relation to various images displayed on a computer screen. Based off the relation of the eye movements to the images displayed, the software will be able to detect signs of memory impairment. This knowledge could be used to have the participant seek further diagnosis by a neurological specialist for potential signs of early onset dementia.
The intention of this contract is to enable Dr. Ryan’s team and the Innovation Engine team to transfer their research into effective and affordable software and hardware products, technologies and services that can be commercialized with an industrial partner.
