I have an optin page on my blogsite, which is double optin using aweber, that adds prospects to List A. When they purchase my product through paypal, I want to automatically add them to my buyer list, List B. Because I'm using an email parser to swap them from List A to List B, aweber forces me to use a double optin. There is no way to avoid this if I'm using an email parser.
What I want to happen instead is that from paypal they are redirected to a page that automatically loads their email and name, taken from the optin page and automatically submits the form to aweber as a single optin, then redirects to my download page. In effect transferring the buyer to list B automatically, without any interaction on their behalf.
So What I need is some way to capture the name and email from the optin form, and then use that information to automatically submit a form to aweber, from a page that I redirect the customer to from paypal.
**Very Important:** Note the blog is on a separate domain to the page the buyer is redirected to from paypal and this cannot be changed.
I think this is a simple job and can be completed very quickly by someone who knows what they're doing. I also would like it to be completed in 3 days or less, so please only apply if you can meet these requirements.
The steps that I need you to complete are:
1. Capture the users name and email address from the optin page on my blog, so they can be retrieved and used on another website. The optin page uses a form POST to send the details to aweber. Capturing the name and email address should not interfere with the POST to aweber, all it should do is save the details to be used later. I don't think you will need the submit details for aweber as it is just a basic form POST.
2. Create a script for the page that users are directed to from paypal. This page is on another domain, however I have full control of both domains, ie my blog and the redirect page. This script should automatically POST a new form to aweber, with two additional hidden fields that contain the name and email address saved in step 1 above. Again this is just a normal form POST so you should be able to test this in your own environment without the aweber form details.
I just need the script and can install it on the redirect page. I would prefer if possible however, that the form is automatically POSTed.
So to recap the process, User opts in on my blog using a double optin. When they enter their details you capture their name and email address and store them. They buy my product through paypal and I direct them to a page that contains Your script. Your script populates two hidden fields in the aweber form and then automatically POSTS the form to aweber. The script should not require any user intervention to work - it must all happen automatically.
