Project Description

Develop a windows application to search multiple documents for certain words and display the count results.

The application / tool must have the capability to add files one by one / all files in one or more folders, then ask for particular words to count ( one or more words to count). {it should have the capacity to add 100 or 500 or 1000 documents in one go; and should support majorly word documents - .doc and .docx formats; it would be good if it supports txt, .rtf, .PDF and other file formats; even not supporting other formats are also fine}

On clicking the Search button, the results of the count of particular word in each of the documents has to be displayed.

Also based on the count of words, all files should be arranged in ascending order or descending order.

Option for ignoring case sensitivity and usage of phrase is also required

The result has to be exported to Excel if needed.

For example;

add doc1, doc2, doc3......doc10 in the tool and search for 3 words like Peter, Jack, love in all the documents in one go.

After searching, the result should display as

Doc Name| Word1(Peter) | Word2(Jack) | word3 (love)

doc1 | 5 | 2 | 0

doc2 | 9 | 3 | 2

doc3 | 2 | 1 | 5

Ascending / descending order link must be next to word1 (word2 or word3 etc), so that when i click ascending order in word 1, the result should display as below;

Doc Name| Word1(Peter) | Word2(finance) | word3 (Senior)

doc3 | 2 | 1 | 5

doc1 | 5 | 2 | 0

doc2 | 9 | 3 | 2

Similarly for descending orders and also for word2, word3,.... etc

The complete code and exe file has to be provided to complete the project.
