I am looking to extend features to an existing Wordpress plugin.
The plugin is MapPress, features and documentation here: [url removed, login to view]
( I will send you the pro version of this plugin )
I need this plugin's map markers to hide/show at specific zoom ranges on a map. An example (weather map) and possibly useful source code here:
[url removed, login to view]
As you can see on the weather map, markers hide/show at different zoom levels.
MapPress map markers are always visible at all zoom levels. I would like to be able to set when a map marker is visible within specific zoom levels via the plugin. Note: Visibility for each new marker has to be set/modified on a Wordpress page with a mapPress instance (not in mapPress settings).
Note: The markers in this plugin have info window functionality that I want to retain in full when clicked.
So basically with the plugin installed, create an instance of mapPress on a Wordpress page, add a few markers and have the option to set the zoom level range that each marker will appear within.
With a map now created with makers on a page (as in task 1), I need to link to this map from a new page on the same website. The button text on this new page would be "show XYZ marker on a map".
When this is clicked, a new browser tab is opened and XYZ marker zoomed to and centered within the map (as in task 1).
This functionality needs to be via a plugin/interface/shortcode.
