This will be required to work with Joomla 2.5.
The system is for website visitors to enter details of an unwanted laptop, and proceed with selling it online, after receiving an instant price valuation.
We are looking for a system to work in the same way as this example [url removed, login to view]
As you can see from the example site, firstly a customer is required to enter their own unwanted laptop details, i.e. make/model, and spec.
Upon completing the form, the customer will be shown a price (value) of their unwanted laptop, then allowing them to click to proceed with the sale.
Once accepting the price, the customer will be shown details on shipping, and offered options as on the example website, i.e. provide their own shipping with a pre-paid label via pdf printout, or request a box from the website to post the item with a pre-paid label.
Also giving the customer the option to choose where they would like to receive the payment, i.e. via paypal, bank transfer or cheque. (if paypal – supply email address, if bank transfer – supply account number and sortcode, if cheque – supply postal address)
Then upon completion, the customer is sent a reference email with all details of transaction including laptop summary and postage details and shown order summary on screen with unique order reference.
If it is possible to replicate the example websites functionality, then this would be perfect.
This system needs to be as close to the example site as possible, as this is exactly what is required for my client.
My client will be responsible for entering prices for the instant quote, and will maintain the system himself.
