You are being asked to develop a shopping cart bot written in PHP using cURL libraries to query a shopping cart and interact with it based on certain criteria. Here's an example: I want a coffee maker from Amazon that is a Cuisinart and is less than $42. The script will query Amazon at preset intervals, and when it finds the product, it adds the product to a cart and emails the cart information to my email (so that a human can complete the purchase). The script should accept any and all cookies set by the cart, and interact with it legally in every way. This is not a hack bot! I'm just looking for a way to automate looking for a particularly priced item on certain shopping carts online. This script will be interacting with only ONE shopping cart, so it does not need to be all that flexible. You'll find out which one when we start the project, but it's similar to Amazon, B&N, etc. I am a novice PHP programmer, so I'll be able to make changes and modifications to the script myself later... as such it does NOT need to be highly finished, encapsulated, and the like. Obviously it has to work, but it will continue to be a work in progress. If you have existing cURL-based libraries, that's perfectly fine! If you have an existing system you could use, fantastic! If you can base this on some other (legally obtained) script that I can't find, more power to you. The bottom line is, it just needs to work. This will be running on a dedicated server, over which I have full control. PHP 4.x, MySQL, cURL libraries etc. are already compiled and ready for your use. Bear in mind, you will be getting this off it's feet, then handing code over to me for use and further editing. You're basically getting me started, so bid accordingly. If you happen to have libraries already finished, this is easy money :). Good luck!
