Project Description

Looking to create a very basic app that essentially will use a daily log sheet to then populate a database with the information. This is used for a maintenance log, so every day will be a new set of things to test or check, but they revolve over a 30 day cycle. for example, this would be a short version of the info to log for a specific day:

Date: 2/6/13

room 24 water temp _____

( ) room 24 call lights OK

room 34 water temp _____

( ) room 34 call lights OK

Water Meter Check _________ time ________

Repair Notes: ___________________________

( ) Test Alarms OK

( ) Check Sprinkler Valves OK

( ) Check Pull Alarm Box OK

Notes: _________________________________

each day has about a 1 page list of entries needed. This data would then file off to a spreadsheet that i could later manipulate (like print all the water meter readings, or just isolate the water temperatures). The front end does not need to be pretty, but it does need to be functional. We would preload all the available dates, so you would first click on the date, and then the form for that day would load. All entries would be completed using a Nexus pad or similar device as i walk throughout the building. It would be easiest for me, if we would be able to set up the spreadsheet database, and then the entries could be put into the form like building blocks.

please let me know if you have questions. this seems like an easy project to me, i just do not have the time to put it together. looking forward to a quote. With the right quote, we would be looking to begin creation immediately. I can provide more detail or images if necessary.
