Project Description

My project is a pets lost and found site that has been coded in php. The site sends out various emails to various recipients once a dog is listed as lost or found. One of the emails is a matching dog alert that is sent to people when a dog matching either the dog they listed as missing is posted, as well as when a dog that has been listed as missing matching a found dog. The problem at this moment in time is that the info that is sent out about the matching dog - matches the description the the dog owner or dog finder used when they registered - and not the info of the actual matching dog although the link to the matching dog is correct. The site also sends out emails to anybody who has registered a dog that is lost, no matter whether the breed or the area matches.

The coding for this is situated in two separate files, one for the dog's info, and one for the email content that is sent. I need someone to help me

a) make sure the matching dog info is only sent to people who match the criteria with breed, color, area, gender, etc

b) make sure that the email that is sent out does not contact the info of the dog that the actual lister has registered, but the description of the MATCHING dog.

I only have $50 for this project so please do not bid if you cannot do it for that amount ( I don't mind adding a bit for the commission that is charged by Freelancer). I would also prefer a person who's native language is English, and also someone that I can communicate with on a regular basis. I am looking for someone that I can build a long-standing relationship with to help me fix my site, and there will be other work in the offing. Please only bid if you really know what you are doing.
