Overview
VMT is a medical transportation company servicing clients in the greater Phoenix area. On a daily basis we service a large number of scheduled and on-demand trips for clients moving to and from necessary medical appointments.
We have developed a custom application which enables our dispatch staff to visualize location of on-duty transportation resources and assign according to current and future distance from a pending trip.
We are seeking an individual or very small team capable of transforming our current dispatch process into an automated process with goal of maximizing operational efficiency. Within the context of this business, achieving maximum operational efficiency necessitates that we reduce fleet mileage, overall staff hours, and staff overtime hours. All factors must be programmatically considered in devising a solution in this endeavor.
In order to accomplish this goal, we are requiring a resource meeting the following -
PHP
Codeigniter development experience - MUST HAVE
GIT experience - MUST HAVE
Geolocation application/api development experience - MUST HAVE
HTML / HTML5 / CSS
JavaScript, JQuery, DOM
AJAX, JSON
Back End experience with MySQL
MVC Architecture
Additional skills that would be considered a plus:
Front-end performance testing and optimization techniques
Understanding of front-end usability standards and development best practices
Excellent visual design skills and knowledge of current industry trends
Responsive design techniques for multiple screen sizes and devices
PLEASE NOTE
This project requires someone available to work and communicate during normal EST, CST, or MST business hours. Preferred work schedule should be specified within initial application.
