We need a developer who understands the inner workings of lemonstand v1, mysql, and php. It is a site that houses more than 300,000 users in the DB. We need the ability to push a CSV to MySQL in that table containing 300,000 entries, but also update records that already exist. The current solution is utilizing a python script to inject the CSV remotely. It ends up killing the server completely. We are open to a command line option that pushes the whole CSV into the DB directly on the server's HD. Maybe this is a lost cause? I need some options to look over and see what is capable. Requirements - no bids will be accepted from India - you must speak perfect English - you must tell me the 9th state that was added to the United States

New Hampshire was the 9th state to join the US of A. UK based developer here - I can help you with your CSV -> mySQL problems. Command like PHP would fit your needs pretty well, you can load the CSV into the mySQL DB pretty quickly (load_infile) would need further details to help you.

I suppose that your script try to insert/update all records in the same transaction. I could create a java application that will update/insert X records in one step. New Hampshire was the 9th state in the USA.

I have done something like this in the past with a couple million records in csv files. I had performance problems with mysql at the time that I can most likely work around if it comes up again. I am bidding fairly high because it is likely to take a while to make this work properly. I know of no way to "directly" import a csv into the internal mysql files.
