Login script alter

I have downloaded a login system that I really like but it doesn't do one feature that I would hope it would and I would like to get it added into this script. Basically right now the script has a login, register, forgot password, log out, etc.. So what I want to do is add in a row in the table called users which I have done and add a column called access or something like that now with the access column it can have different numbers that will mean different things ex = 0 = normal user <------takes to [login to view URL] 1 = admin <--------takes to [login to view URL] 2 = mod <----takes to [login to view URL] 3 = ?? etc.. right now when you sign in it takes you to a place called [login to view URL] I would like it so that when a user with different restrictions can see other pages based on that column i added I talked to the guy that created this script and this is what he told me As you said make the column of the type of user and while registering, add the value accordingly. Then, on login function, change the SQL query to add the condition of checking the user type. I will include the code so you guys can see what i have done so far and what you might be able to do.
