I'm looking for a PHP/MySql programmer. I have a legacy application that needs a quick fix and will need work on an as needed basis. Currently I have a pretty simple task that needs to be performed but it will be a good way to get us introduced and let me see how well you'll be able to work on this legacy code.
The application is used to accept orders online. Currently some follow up orders don't get matched up properly due to mismatched ssn or misspelled names. In this case the user needs to be able to match up the follow up order manually and have the system update the information in the existing record with the info in the follow up record. The work that needs to be done is to add a text box and submit button to existing records in a record listing. Allow the user to enter in a reference ID in the text box and click the submit button. And then update underlying tables based on the reference ID.
You must be very experienced at LAMP, html, css.
The programmer who originally developed the application has had personal issues and has not been able to follow through so I am looking for someone to ultimately be able to take over this legacy application. It has been in production since 2004 and has been upgraded several times over the years. This particular job is a pretty simple task.
I prefer someone in the Orange County CA area. I would like to find someone that can work on this and take on maintenance and upgrades for this legacy project. There are already 2 other upgrades waiting that are much more involved than this. Although you won't have to work on site, I prefer someone that I can meet with in person for future work. Although it is not absolutely necessary.Get free quotes for a project like this
