Secure database access for existing PHP scripts. Two PHP scripts currently access the database using a user id and password in the code, which is visible if a user chooses to view the source. The source must be changed so the user id and password isn't accessible to the public. Create an interface to view, add, delete and update records form the database. The database consists of 3 tables. Date fields should be displayed as mm/dd/yyyy and Boolean fields and the "invitation" field in the orden table should be displayed using a checkbox to indicate its value. To update a date field, dropdown boxes should be used for the month, the day and the year. The interface must be password protected. Alter the database, adding 3 new fields, time stamp, ‘processed' & ‘shipped' to the orden table. Both ‘processed' & ‘shipped' fields are Boolean and should be viewable/updateable using a checkbox in the new interface. Change the script to accept 3 additional fields in place of one. Currently the script accepts a value, passed to it by a form and saves it to the database in standard date format (yyyy-mm-dd). I want to change the form to use a “month” field, a “day” field and a “year” field and pass that information to the script. The script should concatenate the 3 fields in the proper format (yyyy-mm-dd) and assign the new value to the existing date variable.
