Project Description

This is for three pages on our new website. If we work well together, it will lead to future work.

We're looking for 3 interactive pages as per the attached image.

Each section of the attached image shows a screen in the sequence of adding a new event to our site.

The images should be self explanatory but if there is anything you don't understand, please let us know.

The data should be checked as much as possible as soon as the field is completed (earlier if this is feasible for certain fields) and a tick or cross shown as appropriate. Ideally any "wrong" fields should also be highlighted in a pale red so that there is a visual clue as well as the cross image.

You will also need to create a simple mySQL database and populate it with the appropriate data.

For testing purposes, you should generate a new event ID for each test (this can be a random number or whatever else is easy to allow testing).

Your job is to code the pages, not to make them look pretty. But the code must work in the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox.

It should also work when viewed on mobile devices.

If there is anything unclear to you in the attached images, please send us a message when submitting your bid or even before that. We'd answer extra questions before awarding the project rather than causing problems later.

Please provide a realistic timescale for completion of this job.

Please don't bid if you are not able to complete project within the time you specify in your bid or are unable to give regular progress updates and answer messages within 1 working day unless a period of holiday has already been agreed.

We want to build up a good working relationship with a coder as this should be part of a longer term project. We've unfortunately had some bad experiences where coders have gone quiet for days on end, even if this wasn't their original intention. We will endeavour to reply promptly to any questions you have and expect you to do the same!
