Project Description

We are currently using WordPress to power our main site ([url removed, login to view]), and vBulletin to run a forum on a sister site ([url removed, login to view]). Both sites are on a Media Temple Virtual Private (dv) server, and the MySQL databases for both sites are on this same server.

We'd like users who register on the WordPress site to also simultaneously be registered with the vBulletin forum - something like a 'bridge' between the two systems. I have seen bridge solutions on the web, but many seem to use the vBulletin user tables, whereas we would like our system to use WordPress user tables.

Once the bridge is complete, we would like to have all vBulelletin users brought over into WordPress, so that going forward, anytime someone wants to login to vBulletin, they do so through WordPress.

Registering through WordPress will simply get the lowest level of access (Subscriber), but will also get them "member" access to vBulletin.

Thanks for submitting and if I haven't provided enough information please ask.
