Project Description

Joyride is an easy to configure jQuery site tour wizard for any web application.

jQuery developer needed for tutorial guided tours web app using Joyride 2.

We need a developer to create a web-based control panel for creating all tour guides, create a software to install on a server and run the entire Joyride 2 software from linux servers operating on remote websites. jquiry tour web control must be able to run on ubuntu [url removed, login to view] server, debian 6 and centos.

Our main competitor is [url removed, login to view]

Their prices are too much and unjustified, so we want a developer to create a stand-alone similar software to TourMyApp that can be installed on the linux servers i stated above, and the joyride2 tour App must have a web-based front end -control admin for creating new tours and making it easy for any general non-programmer to use.

You must be a good programmer.

Joyride is extremely flexible and lets you take control of how people interact with your tour. MIT programmed it to be cross-browser compatible with modern browsers and even used some fancy CSS to avoid images. Now let’s see just how easy it is to take your first ride without getting the fuzz involved.

features of Joyride 2 include:

# It works on every screen size!—Check out the Responsive Demo

#Replaced counters with the .next() method.

# Data-button attribute defined buttons, data-button will be deprecated in 3.0.

# Edge-aware tooltips that reposition based on proximity to the edge of the window.

# Pause, Resume, Restart, and Destroy—[url removed, login to view]

# Updated to jQuery 1.8.2, supports 1.4.2 and up.

# Modal style tooltips (li elements without data-ids).

# Moved tooltip templating to settings.

# Cookie support is now an option.

# Better support for right and left aligned tooltips.

# Position the nub per tooltip.

# Deprecated inline positioning of tooltips.

# Support for class based targeting with data-class.

# Both postStepCallback and postRideCallback now return a reference the the last tip index and jquery object.

# WIP: skip functionality for missing targeting elements.

# Same size compressed (~12kb).

The Joyride Kit includes the necessary JS + CSS, but also a demo HTML page that shows off how to hookup your first tour using different options.
