Project Description

We are looking for a web developer to write a light weight script for one of our clients;

We need a navigational script that will aid in printing out menu items from a set of web directories, the script should not require the use of a database or any activation processes but should update automatically as new pages are added and will also need to be called into individual pages .HTML & PHP pages through an include.

The menu should:

reflect the directory structure, with an easy way to move menu items up and down the menu list

should be compatible with the CSS/XHTML suckerfish dropdown menu ([url removed, login to view]) system, but should also be flexible for use as a non-drop menu list

Each individual menu item link should:

have the option to display the menu link text as detailed in either the page file name (excluding file extensions and underscores) or as detailed within the page

reflect the current landing page through an ID or class

The script should be W3C standards compliant XHTML/CSS, should be optimised for table less design and should function with our digiEdit CMS system ([url removed, login to view]).
