Please take you time to REVIEW the specifications.
POST References and IDEAS you have according the project specs.
BIDS like "I can do this" will be completely ignored.
You should be very fit in the VBulletin / MSQL environment.
I want to make a community Area on a Website. One element of this Community are VBulletin Forums.
Additionally there are several html pages which should be password protected. The username/passwords should be shared with a vbulletin install. Vbulletin should be integrated or embeded in the website (no design work needed! only a way to embed or integrate and existing forum without the top banners.)
Idea is that the user fills out one signup form that ask all required informations for a vbulletin account and adds a user to the vbulletin database. If possible the signup page should be captcha protected.
The user should be then able to login with a login form fields on a page and this login should be remembered for this user for a period of time (like vbulleting does it)
Now: This authentfication should give the use not only access to the forums but to several html pages which reside in one single directory with subdirectories.
If the user tries to access an html page and is not logged in he should be redirected to a specifiable page where he can register or login.
Additionall I need a method to embed or integrate vbulletin in the website. (must work in all browsers.) At the moment there is a customized design of Vbulletin installed which is ok for me, but has a top banner and things which are not needed if the forum is embedded in the website.
WEBSITE: (contains nudity!!!) - Protection is for Community Section only
[url removed, login to view]
(site is heavily under construction)
The Community section is Area where the Script is for. (The members Section of the Pay Area is protected with another already existing script which has nothing to do with this project)
The Menu Point Overview should be accessible for all.
All other subpages in the Community Area should be password protected with a username and password that is shared with Vbulletin.
On the Submenue Forums the Forums should be embedded as seamless as possible. The current embed doesn't work quite well only in IE but bad in Firefox and not at all in Safari.
If the user is not logged in he should be redirected to the overview page where he can login or signup.
I need nothing fancy but a clean and simple solution which embeds well in the design.
The html page Access must not be 100% secure and proof for accessing the html pages, no bank data there!
But VBulletin Access and Database Access must stay as secure as possible.
The forums(as the current webpage) are at the moment and will be hosted after finishing of the script on the main domain address [url removed, login to view] (the .de is only a testing site at the moment)
IT WOULD BE A GREAT PLUS if the soultion wouldn't require to switch the Content html pages to php pages. If the login page rquires php thats fine.
If you finish this project to my satisfaction there is a lot more work I could throw in your direction...
Happy Bidding and thanks for taking your time to read the project specs to the end.
