A web-based technical help desk suite is needed. We are only looking for a linux-based package (ie PHP and mySQL). The features required include: 1. Ability to support 1200-1500 users 2. Hardware tracking and auditing (hardware probing via a java applet or other method) 3. Reporting by technician, user, or hardware 4. End-users creates a ticket and it is then sent to a queue for a technician to work on 5. Development of a knowledge base of past solved problems 6. An e-mail sent to user with a hyperlink to the solution to their problem from the knowledge base 7. Detailed reporting of the ticket's progress, including; length of time the ticket was open, who has worked on the ticket, and any additional history involving the ticket's resolution. Of course, additional features would be required, but this is a basic rundown of the minimums that we're looking for.
Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. Complete copyrights to all work purchased.
## Deadline information
Only interested in coders in the United States. Project benchmarks would be mandated. Portfolios of past work would be reviewed before we award any contract.
