I need a database in Excel or whatever created for Manufacturing.
It will be run on a pc and displayed on a large format monitor.
Requirements are as follows:
Project 1 Objective ( Communication to Shop Floor )
Establish a method of communicating jobs on order, their priority and expected delivery dates to shop personnel on the R&G shop floor.
Input needs to be simple and easily updated.
Project 2 Objective ( Product / Part List Order Entry )

a-Establish a method of Selecting Products that will appear on a quotation. This order entry form should record:
1-Who the quote is for and who prepared it, today's date.
2-The ship to location, and date required,
3-Selection (How many required) from a list of Product ID's and the associated Product description, paint colour choice from Pull Down, Panel type choice from Pull Down
4-Output will be Info from 1, 2 and 3 above as well as price per unit, total price, commission payable, discount structure.
b-Array / Table Builder
This form will allow Pre-determined Products and prices to be built from a list of Predetermined parts, costs and options
2-List of Products to Build
3-List of products to Purchase
4-Future consideration for Integration of Inventory
If possible to demo to me on the access platform but the final version will be on LAMP.
