I have a custom developed Drupal system that has orders, but **NOT through a shopping cart system or e-commerce**. These orders have different status levels. When they have been completed, they get moved to a section called "Ready to be Invoiced".
When these orders get moved to this section, I need a way to be able to export these orders to a Quickbooks IIF file that I can then save to my computer and then import into my quickbooks program as invoices. Once these orders have been exported to a Quickbooks IIF file, the orders in the Drupal system need to have a way to move them out of "Ready to be Invoiced", change the status to closed move them into the Archived Orders section of my custom Drupal system.?
Orders that are in the "Ready to be Invoiced" section can be exported as a IIF file daily, weekly, or monthly depending on how many orders we have ready. This capability of being able to export orders through Quickbooks IIF file will only be available to Admin users.
