I have recently installed vBulletin Suite on my website.
it has 3 separate modules, vBulletin CMS (Article Based), vBulletin Blog (Blog Post Based) and vBulletin Forum (Forum Based) integrated together.
at the moment, the CMS part requires manual work to list. the purpose is to allow webmasters to manage the contents.
however, that's not what I want.
what I want is for the vBulletin Blog posts to be shown on the vBulletin CMS (homepage) part automatically.
this way, users can create their own blog posts and the home page can immediately show:
* the latest posts
* the most viewed posts
* and the highest rated posts.
the task should be pretty easy.
basically I just need a programmer to integrate the vBulletin Blog module with the vBulletin CMS module (sync categories with sections), and be able to list out the (widgets) latest posts, the most viewed posts and the highest rated posts.
the next is some simple tweaks to make sure the positioning of these widgets are ok.
to get an idea of the website, kindly visit: [url removed, login to view]
another option is to:
change code so blog posts automatically get shown on the CMS home page as articles.
widgets just have to show e.g.
1st row: Highest rated posts of the day (4-5 posts)
2nd row: Highest viewed posts of the day (4-5 posts)
3rd row: Latest posts (20 posts)
at the moment the blog page shows only 2 latest posts. would also appreciate it if programmer can simply change it to showing 20 latest posts.
