Project Description

FiftyOne North is a management consultancy that specialises in unlocking business outcomes by connecting people, strategy, and investments.

We have developed a proprietary assessment methodology to reveal how organisational networks impact business performance.

We are seeking a software developer to develop an integrated, online tool to support our methodology.

The tool will have four (4) key functional components:

An online survey module

A network analysis engine

A network layout/visualisation module

An administration console

While we are open to suggestions for technology platforms, our preference is for the following.

HTML5, PHP or Ruby on Rails

MySQL, JSON

Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosted (EC2, S3, RDS)

Use of open source frameworks and/or packages is encouraged (eg [url removed, login to view])

We require the software to function via the latest versions of Safari, Firefox, and Chrome

We require the software to function on a tablet (reference iPad2) with little/no changes from the web/browser version

A high level overview of the application is attached.

We see this assignment being approached as follows:

PHASE 1 Wireframes and High Level Site Design

PHASE 2 Beta Release of all modules

PHASE 3 Production Release

We are after the following in the first phase:

Overview of your experience in the preferred technologies, your development approach, and example (similar) sites

Estimate (cost/time) for Phase 1 ie to develop wireframes (ie high level screens), graphical treatment, and high level site design

Budget estimate/range (cost/time) to complete Phase 2 (Beta) and Phase 3 (prod release).
