We need to build a custom feature for our existing warehousing system InFlow Inventory.
What we need done is a system/script which every day at a certain time calculates how much space our customers use in our warehouse.
How can this be done?
Every product in our warehouse is entered in our warehouse system and stored in a MSSQL 2005 database.
The product is stored with length, height and width and m3 per. product.
Customers should pay per m3 (cubicmeter) they use in our warehouse.
Every customer has their own assigned "Location" in our warehouse system, so what we need is a system/script that every day calculates the total m3 usage of every location.
System/script should "list" all items in a location of the MSSQL database, take the m3 usage of every item in the database and multiply it with the amount of the item in stock.
All stock should then be put together and the total m3 usage of this specific (customer) location should be outputted into a list for every date of the year.
It is very important that the system/script is able to automatically search and check for new locations added to the MSSQL database BEFORE the list for the day is generated.
Please see attached example for an idea of how the output should look like. Output could be a .php page or similar.
We are able to provide a test enviroment with a copy of the actualy database.
Our warehouse software is InFlow Inventory ([url removed, login to view])
Looking forward to hearing from freelancers who can do this project.
