I am trying to 301 redirect product pages from my old store to my new ecwid store using htaccess. When I try to go to the old page it basically comes up with a 404 error and takes me to my main new store page.
When I look at the address the redirect has placed most of my old address just before the &id number in the new store address. The page id from the old address is then placed after the &id number. I have no idea why the old address is even being placed in the new address at all. I am not very knowledgeable with htaccess. I am using the old one from my site and just adding the lines I want manually. Maybe I should just start fresh.

[url removed, login to view]!/~/product/category=43997&id=1878820
[url removed, login to view]!/~/product/category=43997/shopcart/product_name-p-4993.htmlid=1878820?products_id=4993
It seems to actually replace the "&" symbol in the new address with the entire old address path. Then it adds a "?" to the end and extracts "products_id=4993" from the end of the old address "p-4993" and inserts it after the "?".
My new store is an AJAX store. I have NO ability to change the structure of the product address/permalink. This means that I must find the correct syntax to use to redirect.
I am in search of two things. First someone that can make this redirect work correctly and second someone that can cleanup my htaccess file and make sure it is built with the correct structure and security measures.
