Need a simple shell script for linux environment .
currently a shell script is call and that script gets downloaded from webserver.
this script has multiple shell scripts that will be downloaded and run
for example wget [login to view URL]
what we want to do is that a new scripts are being used, it should write a version number to a text file in same directory for example 1 in [login to view URL]
so this was it will ignore to download or install [login to view URL] and proceed to any scripts listed after the first for example [login to view URL] [login to view URL] and after each script is run it will write its new number so next time this can be ignored.
and next time that it is run it will ignore [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] and download and run [login to view URL]
this should be on a loop to be run every 15 minutes.
Hello:
I worked five years with shell script on unix.
I can build a solution for the requirements described.
The frequence of execution is going to be parameterizable.
