Project Description

I am looking for a long lasting working relationship with a good and reliable PHP programmer. You must have the following qualities:
* Be a professional programmer. You can’t say “I don’t know” when it comes to PHP.
* Have a strong portfolio showing PHP coding flexibility.
* Be familiar with e-Commerce solutions like OSCommerce and it's derivatives, Zen Cart etc.
* Understand importance of coding efficiency, cross platform (ie/mozilla), friendly search engine coding (mainly links and url), and knowing how to implement them.
* Have good sense of timing.
Very important issues:
I've been screwed twice here with people who are unable to communicate and understand that the project manager needs input every day as to it's progress. Please understand I'll need daily updates when we do our projects. I’m not pushy or annoying type of project manager, all I require is a daily email to indicate progress and a small IM chat at least every 72 hours.
For this reason Please apply if you are from the LOS ANGELES AREA ONLY. We will meet before we start working to see we get along on the personal level too. This bid is just the screening process, if you can provide somehow contact information it would be great.
I prefer working with hungry students, or no degree hard core freelance programmers. I suggest we grow together from project to project and maybe create a steady stream of income for you.
My background is C++ programming for 5 years and web development for 3 years. I have a lot of clients, and I'm trying to build a virtual software house.
Thank you for your participating, the bid quote is irrelevant of course.
