An experienced PHP / mySQL / Smarty Programmer is needed.

This person or team must be able to analyze / design / code stand alone applications, be able to create add-ons / mods to existing applications and be able use APIs to connect applications together.

Knowledge and a firm understanding in the concepts of:

a CMS (CMSMadeSimple, Joomla, etc)

a Shopping cart (CS-Cart, Zen-Cart, osCommerce, OpenCart)

Payment Gateways ([url removed, login to view], QuantumGateway)

Email Marketing (Interspire IEM6)


Linux (Redhat, CentOS)

Apache (1.3.x, 2.x)

are required.

Numerous projects, some small and some large, are in need of your talents.

1. CS-Cart = PHP, Smarty

CS-Cart comes in 3 "flavors": Professional, Ultimate, Multi-Vendor (MV). Professional is one Store, one Admin. Ultimate is multiple Stores, one Admin. And MV is one Store (or Mall), multi-Admins (Vendors, Producers).

a) Change the Vendor's Admin "backoffice" in CS-Cart MV by "hiding" (removing) some the Products tabs and Products fields that the Vendor's sees.

A Vendor has to go through too many steps / tabs / pages / fields to Add a new product to the Store or Mall.

b) Change the way Vendors upload digital (downloadable) Products. The Store / Mall Admin can upload files through FTP and select them from the server when adding a new downloadable Product, however, the Vendors can only upload through CS-Cart, which is fine for small files, not too good for large 1+GB files.

c) Replace the Newsletter feature / function with IEM6. There is a CS-Cart / Mailchimp addon that can be purchased ... the addon can be purchased and then modified to work with IEM6's API instead of Mailchimp's or an addon can be developed from scratch ... whichever is the cheapest and quickest to get up and running.

d) Addon or replace the existing Vendor feature / function. The existing Vendor management is rather weak or doesn't exist, for example, Vendor Payouts is a manual task.

e) Addon a [url removed, login to view] feature / feature module to CS-Cart so a Vendor can sell either a downloadable Product, a shippable Product or a membership / subscription Product.

2) Create a "Gateway to the Gateways"

Need scripts (CS-Cart, osCommerce, etc) to "talk" with "My Gateway" which "talks" to the Gateways ([url removed, login to view], QuantumGateway) example:

CS-Cart makes "calls" to "My Gateway". "My Gateway" makes "calls" to the Gateway. The Gateway answers back to "My Gateway" which answers back to the CS-Cart.

In other words, "My Gateway" is a "go through" routine between the scripts and the Gateways. "My Gateway" will "round robin" through a list of Merchant Accounts and "talk" with various Gateways ... it will keep track of ALL payment transactions no matter what script or site the transactions are coming from.

3) I have several sites that have been sitting around for years that I need to get up and running again. I want them managed by a decent CMS that is Smarty driven so future design changes can be done easily and quickly.

I need to know an estimate of the time frame to complete the individual task and when are you able to start.
