Hello, I have been working on a socialengine project in my free time for the last 6 months. basically what are u trying to accomplish is very easy. For facebook login it requires a facebook app then simply adding app ID and Secret ID to socialengine backend. also the login with facebook button can be transformed into a widget so u can drag it anywhere. For the language drop down there is already a widget so it requires only drag n drop to the right place. In case u want to add it in some custom place like top menu or toolbar this can be done by editing the top menu widget and simply echo the language widget in there using $this->content()->renderWidget(); Best Regards!
